That first one is spectacular. Love the rounded bits of ceiling. I can almost hear the buzzing from the sign.

I think I must have memorized every nook and cranny of that airport terminal. We were there from 11:30pm to nearly 7am. And that sign did, in fact, hum. Like a mofo. But not loudly enough to drown out the terrible music coming from the all-night coffee stand.

digital cross processing?

As a film photographer, I find that concept hilarious. I understand what it means, but it sounds so funny. The effect is nice, though.

I am relatively new to digital photography, preferring film and the heavy old quirky cameras that I taught myself on.

Apparently this phrase is in fairly wide use, and while it's totally absurd to me too, I'd be hard-pressed to come up with a better way of saying it.

Well, Smax drew me a picture, but tell me if this makes any sense:

In Photoshop's "curves" adjustment

Green channel, anchor point in top of lower left quadrant, make a convex arc.

Blue channel, anchor point in the middle, make a convex arc.

Red channel, anchor points in the middle and in the bottom of the upper right quadrant, make a concave arc.

RGB channel, make an S-curve with anchor points in the lower left and upper right quadrants.
