Bottom right, just out of the picture.

The English translation of the title is Who the Hell is Johannes Semper?. It tells the story of a tourist on a stag weekend in Tallinn who discovers a protrait of Johannes Semper in the Estonian Art Museum; the painting is by Adamson-Eric, and is unremarkable except for two details. Both are faint images on the wall behind Semper: a motif of an oriental dragon/temple-dog, and; the upper half of a humanoid stigmatic, apparently male, and apparently not Jesus ( ... )

Subsequent research reveals that he was a) a leading light of the 1930's Estonian literary scene, and b) author of the lyrics to the Estonian national anthem.

Google reveals a lot of sites in incomprehensible cyrillic script.

Other than that, I'm still stumped.

Beautiful.

One of my holiday books is half blank as well, presumably because there was so much lost in the drink. I've never been to Tallinn; maybe I'd find an exciting way to fill up the other half of my book too.
