Nary a one. They're a dying breed. Soon we will have no need of lampposts as we will be outfitted with night-vision goggles. As for companionship, people will once again have to rely on each other.
Artemis Mayfield examines the lower leg (front) of his giant robot "The Liberty Engine" which defended New York against incoming enemy craft during the Zofaltzee conflict (1938-1949) The Liberty Engine was the only completed prototype to survive the attack on the Red Hook Engine Works. Despite it's unfinished state at the time, it successfully repelled the attack manned only by the now famous "Ladies of Liberty," the very crew responsible for building the great engines.
