I am so, so, so sorry. You did everything you could and I know, know Maggie felt that. She knew, no matter how bad she felt, she was safe with you. I am glad she could die in your arms, feeling that love and protection at the very end

Oh god, I am so sorry for the loss of Maggie :( I cried at this entry because I love cats so much and losing them is so tough and I just feel so bad at what happened to your cat. I ditto what lostsailors said, I feel though it was very tough for you, I think it's (well good doesn't sound like the right word, but its the only one that is coming to mind at this late hour) that she died in your arms. It was probably a great comfort to her, and you should be comforted that you showed her your love right up to her passing
