This Friday night there are going going to be a slew of Harry Potter bands (I think the term is wizard rock?) at a St. Stephens downtown. Apparently, the Potter Puppet Pals will be there and who doesn't love them? Mentioning this cause maybe people in the area will be interested? Let me know if you want more details

Uhm thanks for being supportive sis.Not looking forward to future conversations on the topic.People can unknowingly be real runts about NYC- I have a bunch of friends who used to live there and insist it's too expensive and I shouldn't move there and it fucking irks me that they (like your sister) don't seem to get that people are different. I, for instance, don't need to go out every fucking night and get drunk (like most of the folks I know who have lived there do), so that's a considerable saving right there. Wow, what kind of job would it be for E in Manhattan? (Something psych-related?). That would be a big move...are you hoping he gets the one in this area then, or is that not as good a job? In any case, hope things are settled soon, and that you find something for yourself as well! (Oh icky job market, so not looking forward to entering that in the next year...O_o). Sorry about the family drama too, if you ever want to talk, you know where to find me...literally.

I can relate but on a much, much smaller scale with my current job interview. On one hand: JOB INTERVIEW, JOB INTERVIEW, JOB INTERVIEW. On the other, huge commute, nothing I want to do. It's really stressful. I can't imagine having the possibility of MOVING looming over everything.
Also there are INBETWEENS before Jersey- I have tons of friends who work in Manhattan, but live in the outer boroughs.
