33 [ish] minutes

Missed a turn and wound up knocking a quarter mile off what should have been a 3 mile run, but it’s still a big increase from yesterdays run. Probably not more than two minutes or so of walking and only when I ( Read more... )

Sorry folks, I don’t get a runners high. I hate it. It just sucks.

YES! I knew there was a reason I liked you. ;) I am always telling people how much I hate to run! And of course then they give the the "WTF" look and ask me why am I doing it.

I like the way I feel after I run. I like the results I get from running. I really like races...not because I have ANY chance of winning, but I just love the atmosphere.

But the running itself...still hate it. You said how you hate the first few minutes, well I hate the first hour! After that then it's not too bad. In fact if I have to run, I like the 13-20 mile runs better than the 5 mile ones. But I still hate running! :)
