Let it rain!!!!

So I have been in El Paso now for a week. It has rained now 4 times. I know for those of you back east you would relish in the idea of seeing rain only four out of every seven days. I can tell you that this place is not made for rain. Instead of it being a sandbox it is now a mud box. I thought I was in the dessert south west, not the tropical ( Read more... )

you could come visit me in El Paso... I may be able to take an afternoon off or so, but that is about it. I have a couch where you could sleep. I do not know what your schedule is like but it looks as if it is a 5 hr drive there.

Seriously, dude, I think the magnolia in our front yard may topple over anytime now. I'm sure the cacti in EP have been watered enough.

Many years in Texas -- never saw a thunder sand storm. Any pics?

nope sorry,
I was at the site when the storm blew up from over there yander hills. Then I watched it cover the flight tower and then I decided it was time to high tail it to my hotel room. There was a lot of energy being released from that storm, the temperature dropped at least 10 dgrs F as the storm approached and it was all I could to to save ole blue!
