Well as most of y'all know I am putting Slim up for sale. I must say that I feel like I am betraying an old friend , but it is time for him to find a new home. You never waste my time! I love you dear and try to remember that you aren't finishing, you are only just beginning. (boy did that sound cheesy) Anyway, as always, I am praying for you - that you may have guidance and courage as you begin this new chapter, and that I will be able to support you in the ways you need the most. I love you, and I can not wait to be called your wife.

Well there are two transmissions that could have been installed in that car. One of which you can change the filter and one of which requires one to tear the entire tranny down. Of course the smaller beast has the latter, so we flushed the fluid until it resembled children's benerdryl, which was a vast improvement of the black coffee that we drained out of it the first time. So 5 gal of tranny fluid later and it may make it until Christmas or it may make it until 2020. Although depending on when it dies, it may become an electric vehicle.....

Here's hoping that the black fluid didn't have have so much metal suspended in it that the tranny now fails altogether.

Can you tell that I'm not entirely trusting of automatic transmissions.
