I could comment on how much time as flown by me in the past 11 months, or on how trying some of this past 11 months have been, but I will not. Steph and I are in family housing, we picked our apartment from one of the two offered to us yesterday, or this morning depending on your definitions. Slim is well on his way to being sold. We received two very lovely things in the mail this week -- first, the very sweet, kind, unexpected letter from you guys. We both feel unworthy of the compliments, but are happy to try and live up to them. (No, that is NOT a request for more compliments...)

Second, your invite arrived today -- I love the wax seal! The invites are very nicely designed -- I've not seen anything quite like them. Kudos to whomever came up with the design.

Sorry to have missed y'all last PM -- the bulletin doesn't type itself -- it takes hours of effort to keep up my error rate (insert smiley face here.)

The letter was written during our Engaged Encounter. Y'all and the Smiths are truly an inspiration and a testament on how to couples should love each-other. I am more partial to Y'all than the Smiths, but I am grateful that there are couples like y'all at STM.

The invitations were a compilation of Ideas from Steph and I. We went back and forth on designs and verses and red on green v. green on red. The eggshell was another back and forth thing. Finally we got it right after about 6 attempts and we decided to stick with it. I just wish that I could cut paper at right angles, but that is for another day. We decided to make the invitations by hand, as a bonding experience. We had a great time doing it. Steph did all the embossing I did all the cutting and we both did gluing. I would suggest that every couple do the same.
