 I know this guy. He's absolutely and utterly maddening, but wonderful. And sweet, and thoughtful and supportive and really, really good to me.

And so very, very broken. I saw him cry for the first time the other day... it was actually kind of a perfect female moment if he'd been a girl because I had cried earlier in the day and he was there for me

I have to say that poem is quite beautiful dear. And I'm very happy that you have someone who makes you feel this way. Everybody needs that person in their life.

Thank you, Kat! I'm glad you liked it. And Yeah... he makes me feel this way but even I am not naive enough to think that it'll last forever. Or even a month. Which is why, I think, it has lasted for this long.

Is love only acceptance?

Love is so very much more than acceptance. But love is also a lot of acceptance.
I'm glad things have lasted this long for you and I do hope they continue this way for as long as is possible.
