I'm only on page 428 of New Moon, but I'm really really really getting into this. Like, during the first book, I was enjoying the story. During the first part of this book, I've been sympathizing a lot more with Bella. Now, now that the climax is approaching in this book... my heart is all torn up and I'm freaking out and omg. OMG. omg

It happens. Very unfortunate, but that is how the Twilight love goes. You can't help but be sucked in by it.

I read the first book. And then 8 chapters of New Moon. And nothing since. So I guess I am the un-sucked. (pardon the vampiric punnery... Haha)

Personally, beyond some of the terrible writing, I also had issues with some of the stereotypical social conservative ideals the books push on young girls. I don't want to spoil the series for you so I'm not going to list them now, but once you're done, I'm willing to discuss it if you're interested.
