I still want young Ethan dealing with the Life On Mars team, as he tries to spring young Ripper from jail. Especially if Phyllis tries to mother him and protect him from the worst of Gene's ranting.

Ethan visits Torchwood, where he turns Owen into a frog, thus winning himself Ianto's undying love. Jack is mildly pissed off (mostly due to Gwen's spouting of the Human Rights Act and how it relates to non-consensual animal transformation), but sees the funny side when Ethan promises to let him have his medic back human in time for the next Post Mortem.

Ethan in Robert Rodriguez' Mexico: Ethan likes angsty guitarists, although there's a certain blind ex-CIA agent who'd kill him if he tried anything, and he'd get on reasonably well with Seth Gecko too, I suspect.

I got this bunny off an icon-pairing-meme where I got Ethan/Gene (and Rupert/Heinrich, funnily enough). Haven't stopped thinking about it since.

I just read a really great The Sentinel story that had Ethan in the guest role. Very cool stuff, and he was exceptionally good in it! It helps if you're a Sentinel fan, but you can find it here:

I'm in the midst of writing a couple of crossovers wherein Ethan causes mischief for the members of U2 (ever since the latter RPF took hold of my brain). One is pre-BtVS and is a prequel to the second, which is post-Chosen. Both are possibly cracked out, and at this rate if I ever finish and post anything again it'll be a miracle, but it's fun, anyway.

I think you can put Ethan in any 'verse, really.

Ages ago I started plotting an xover with Sleepy Hollow but lost it in the great computer crash(tm)
