*hugs you tightly*

I know exactly how you feel. I hated not being able to write, felt guilty, and that killed my creativity dead. Don't feel guilty - give yourself some time, and the writing will come back.

*sends you gently hopping bunnies*

*hugs you* Writer's block sucks beyond the telling. And the more you stress about it the worse is gets... just take some YOU time... read fic, drool over art etc and in time the muse will come back.

Mine makes occasional brief reappearances before heading back to Outer Mongolia to hang with his mates (I am convinced there is an ongoing muse convention there!)

Having a bit of a dry spell myself and have a ficathon coming up, but a month away, so trying not to panic yet. I'm trying to write but by God, it's slow. Where do those muses go? I suspect the same as a commenter above. They're having a gay old time in Los Vegas or Tortuga, sniggering over the state they've left us in. I'm sure the ficathon runners will understand. Happens to everyone.

Give yourself a break. LJ is a hobby. Right?

Here's my bad. I signed up for my first and only ficathon several months ago and forgot about it for awhile. Then, there was all that kerfuffling about people *ruining* LJ by writing and posting crap and lots of people were one the attack for writers who *suck* and I lost all my nerve and never posted my story.

And I probably never will.
