I'm not going to do a con report on Katsucon, but I would like to let everyone know that I've taken a long time, and have finally decided that Otakon will be my last anime convention, at least for awhile (I'd still like to get back to AX one more time).  The reason is simply that I've stopped having fun at the past few, mainly since last Katsucon (

Beyond the driving thing, because your car isn't the reason why I liked going to cons with you. I'm sad that you don't want to go to anymore, but I understand why and saw this coming.

I understand your decision, mostly for the money/time issues (for me at least). It's getting difficult to have the time and money to go to as many conventions as I'd like and of course to make all of the costumes I'd like.

I remember you mentioning this at Katsu and I'm glad you took time to really think it over. Conventions are expensive and if they lose the appeal they once had I can understand it becoming difficult to justify paying all that money. Conventions are usually a hobby and means to friendships, but that doesn't mean their necessary to maintain those friendships you've made. You know we're always around if you'd ever like to drive out for a visit or fun weekend. I hope this allows you more time to travel and attend events you enjoy ♥
