(no subject)
Okay, guess what this post is about XD
But first of
I actually thought I would be able to watch Supernatural after school today, cause I live in Germany and the links for streaming and/or downloading are never up before I leave for school (around 7 in the morning). So I accepted that.
THEN my english teacher got sick - english class is my first two lessons! So i was kinda pissed, because I could've watched it at home if i knew earlier.
THEN i remembered that we have a room with four computers which can be used by students in their free periods! I was happy again till I found out that i'm not allowed to be there when there's no supervisor! I got pissed again...
10 min later - someone pupils went into said room! With a supervisor! I was happy again (you see - lots of ups and downs this morning ^^).
There was one computer left and I COULD WATCH IT!!!
Afterwards I had to write my biology exam - but it went okay!
And my french teacher was sick, too - so that's why i'm home early and can watch it again!!!
so - that's that...
Now we come to the ep itself:
Overall - it was awesome, totally awesome!
I have to watch it again now and will list all the things I liked, sadly some of the things that bothered me and some stuff that confused me (but will maybe be explained later?):
GOOD:
Dean in hell
- NO don't get me wrong! not the fact that he was in hell, but the way they showed it! at the end of season 3 i didn't like the fact, that they showed how hell looked like - till sara gamble said in an interview that this was just some kind of "pre-hell" or whatever.
cause i don't think ANY hell that tv invents can be as scary and terrifying as oneself can imagine it!
so just showing dean's eyes and his reaction was imo a very good idea!
September, the 18th
- I like it when they set the ep on the same date as our present =)
Bobby and Dean’s reunion
- i’ve watched that scene when it was released and loved it - and I still love it now ;)
+ bobby splashing holy water into dean’s face in the end XD
Sam wearing Dean’s necklace
- just AWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Jason playing on Sam’s IPod
- XD just - fucking brilliant XD
BAD:
Sam and Dean lying to each other
- well, that’s not necessarily bad - but it just makes me really sad that they cannot be honest with each other. They’re brothers for god’s sake - they should trust each other! And now it gets even worse with it than it was in season 3 :(
Castiel - Angels - God
- COME ON. Okay, for explaining the problem I have with that, I have to start at the beginning:
I always thought the purpose of Houses of the holy was to show us - angels do not exist. Dean doesn’t believe in them and he doesn’t have to to make things like holy water work.
Then kripke always told us that Christianity wouldn’t take up a big part in supernatural - that there was just this big evil that the Winchesters have to fight. They get NO help from up high.
And now comes an angel along and saves dean!
I just don’t get why kripke tells us that stuff in the first place - so maybe my problem with angels is because I believed kripke. I don’t know
All I know is that when I first read some spoilers about a new type of supernatural beings I prayed that they didn’t mean angels…
Plus: castiel seems kinda stupid to me - he tried to talk to dean with his real voice in the gas station - it didn’t work and it hurt dean! So what is he doing? Trying it again! That‘s what’s called NO learning effect!
And the thing with the wings just looked cheap -.-
So hey, maybe I’ll change my point of view in the future and get used to angels being part of the show now… or I’ll just accept it because kripke thinks it’s the right think to do… I don’t know
Oh, and do you wanna hear my prediction what’s god’s big plan for dean?
--- he is supposed to stop sam because rubys intentions are of course not that righteous. =(
CONFUSING:
Dean’s unmarked grave
- when I watched the first 5 min after the comcicon, I didn’t think much by it, because we didn’t know how dean ended up in that grave. But now bobby tells dean, that they buried him (and sam didn’t wanna burn’n’salt him cause he should come back). But why did they buried him in an UNMARKED grave? Why not a nice “beloved brother” or buffy’s “[s]he saved the world -. A lot”?
SUPERNATURAL
- the new opening - is it supposed to tell us anything? Okay, the last three didn’t do that but what is it supposed to BE? (the first was lightning, the second was fire, the third was a storm with the devils trap in it)
Kristy/Ruby
- so ruby has a new body, kristy’s. she was in that body the whole episode? And the we had sex part was just a cover? Or did they really had sex?

Dean: “what’s the deal with the liquor store? You’re parents out of town or something?”

Dean: “I know… I look fantastic!”

Pam: “No, I just wanna get a sneak peak at it - like a crystal ball without the crystal” (don’t really know WHY I like this quote so much, but I do)

Dean: “ I like to think it’s because of my perky nipples”
Dean:” the smarter brother’s back in town”
So I guess overall you can call it a great episode - the angels part bugs me, but I will try to keep an open mind and see what kripke has up his sleeve for us ;)
