So, I've been stalking ff.net and LJ for some time. Finally, finally I got the nerve up to sign up. I really just want to be part of a community of fanfic writers. And as I'm not so familiar with the ins-and-out of LJ functionality and/or posting, I'm looking to my new "friends" to help out. I'm a writer by trade and, of course, have a original

Heya and welcome again! Urgh, my original novel is always in the works, too - although I am closing in!! Some other Rayne writers you might want to consider adding to your f-list are cedelede, imashark, basched, bigbadjayne, night_lotus, raven_40. I know I'm leaving people out, but as you start commenting on others fics and posting, you'll meet them.

www.prettydeadly.net is the Rayne fic archives, and has close to every single Rayne fic on the internet, so if you're looking to read old stuff, head there.

As to posting, it's generally best to post a chapter at a time, you can post it on your personal LJ and then do a post in the river_jayne that fake cuts back to your journal:) Betas are nice, but not absolutely necessary, but if you want one, it's pretty easy to snag somebody once you build up some friendships. If you've got anything you need looked at before then, I'm generally willing and able, just drop me a DM through LJ:)

I highly recommend the works of fabledfigment (her pr0n, definitely), aliaspiral (especially her pr0n), and steplianna (and her fab pron, The Spanking Hat Chronicles) - are you sensing a theme here with regards to my preferences?

I myself wrote a little series called Photuris: Songs About Jayne that you can find on my FF.Net page that might give you a cackle here and there.
