And I was wondering if there was like a world guide or something, or other useful reference material because for example figuring out the timing of the events in the broader universe is a little difficult... so like if someone had made a time line or something like that, that'd be super helpful.

The UK first printing of the first trilogy had an appendix with details of hara biology including why they can't have sex with humans. The Wraeththu RPG also covered the topic.

Flick sleeps with the (male) human shaman in, er, probably Wraiths with a non-explicit line or two about some positions being safe.

One of Wendy Darling's stories in (IIRC) Para Kindred has a har sleeping with a woman... and when asked how the reply is "We manage."

Gah! All these books are at home! Will try to remember to dig them out over the next few days.

Appendix III: Wraeththu sexuality. The section on Pelki states…
The latter [sex with humans] is essentially murder, as humankind cannot tolerate the bodily secretions of Wraeththu, which act as a caustic poison; pelki to humans is always fatal.

The Roleplaying Game repeats exactly the same words (on page 41).

So use a really, really sturdy condom? :-)

The Wendy Darling story is Dysphoria in Para Kindred. The one about the har/woman who is trans-species.

If you are after really, really early events (pre-Pellaz), I made a list of events in order from various sources, but many are from the RPG. Storm has said the RPG is not canon. But I can give you my list if you think it would be useful.
