It's been ages since I updated here. I'm going to start with some reoccuring themes though.
I want to get fit, lose weight and tone up. I make a start and then for some reason I stop again. So once more here I go. I've got myself a copy of EA Active 2 and I'm trying to follow the program. Shall see how far I manage. No specific goals at the moment just seeing how it goes.
Depression has been a long time companion for me. Came off my meds just after the Gathering and don't feel that I need to be on them at the moment. However I'm having down periods. They're not lasting longer than a few days at the moment so it's not worrying me too much however I fear that the longer the stuff with trying to get a job continues the worse it may get. Trying to stay positive and hoping that the bit of regular exercise I'm getting will help to stave it off.
So I've moved to the UK and am in a new(ish) relationship. Things seem to be going well so far, although I can see our lease not being renewed after the 6 months. We still seem to be getting on well together so shall just have to wait and see. If anyone fancies coming and visiting you're more than welcome.
I have a job as a home care assistant, however I am unable to start the job. In order to work I need to have a CRB done. Fair enough. In order to complete the CRB I need to have a national insurance number. Fair enough also other than the fact that I can't get anyone to talk to me about my application for one or to tell me at what stage it's at. So I've signed on again. This is leaving me feeling a bit crap but I'll get over it and it'll all get sorted I just wish it wasn't going to take such a long time.
Recently my aunt had a stroke. She's only in her early 50's. It wasn't picked up upon and now she's just going downhill really quickly. I'd love it if people learned to recognise the basic signs of it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHzz2cXBlGkIt's really corney but it gets the point across (also slightly earwormy). Also I can't find the one with the correct emergency number on it, however I'm sure you all know how to call an ambulance.
So there's my life in a nutshell. Hope people are keeping well.
