Hearing Like a Dog

Yep, I've always known my hearing was weird. I had a million hearing tests in elementary and high school because human voices blurred together. But I can tell the TV's on from 20 feet away even if the picture is black and the sound is off because I can hear the hum.

my resutls are skewed. I can hear the highest one but cannot hear the middle 3.

I have the same problem, it's one (albiet very small) reason I don't watch much TV. Even a TV from a nearby neighbor is noticeable sometimes, and it seems to be worse if the sound is turned all the way off or there is a blank screen. I even hear my computer monitor sometimes if it is off but the monitor is on.
