Closest book was the Heinlein collection "The Past Through Tomorrow" which I picked up (out of print) from Amazon marketplace for like $6. The short story the sentences are from is called "The Man who Sold the Moon".

"If you won't back me up let's liquidate and I'll do it alone."
Strong drummed on his desk top. "Now Delos, nobody said anything about not backing you up."

rayya13's comment was a lot more interesting out of context, oh well.

I love Good Omens!

The book closest to me was "Garlic And Sapphires", by Ruth Reichl.

"Drink your dessert (unless you're having cheesecake). Skip the tartufo, the berries and the ice cream, and note that there are terrific ports, Sauternes and late-harvest wines that would make a very sweet ending to the meal. Confirm your reservation. Sparks can be very casual when you call."

1. Closest book was Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (at work) I thought oh how boring...but Im not at pennsic.

2. Page 123. Body - Bolero there aught to be a joke in there somewhere.

3. 5: a group of persons or things: as A) a fighting unit : Force B) a group of individuals organized for some purpose: Corporation < a legislative ~>

Now that seems appropriate for PENNSIC !!!! way cool Go East! Specifically I'm thinking of Riverkeep... Oh how I wish I was there in the sheild wall with everyone...
