Did look into the XPS. The M series are too heavy to lug around. The XPS 13 looks good but only has 1 usb port!

Me however loves Macbook Air :P

If my memory serves, HP and Acer has 'student' discounts for some of their laptops. Cheap and decent.

Too many horror stories from Acer..
Quickly ran across a few HP model's and the touchpad feels ethereal. Almost like a fake plastic toy. :P
I just wish there is a store I can fumble with all the models without all the sales person buzzing ard every other minute.

Is it a recent model of the S series? The only problem I have with the Fujitsu ones that I've ran thru is that most of their models do not have a dedicated video card. The one I had shortlisted was perfect except for the the intel integrated..
The next in line in terms of specs and weight is the Vaio Z.

Havent really looked into HP compaq.. Read reviews that some owners swear that after service is almost non-existence. Had any encounters with that?
