fun for the whole family
the day after the party our family all packed up in four cars (there were 16 of us total) and drove off to dana point to catch a boat to catalina island. the ride was delightful. we took over to upstairs deck and spent the ride enjoying the sunshine and cold breeze. i was sad that we only stayed for about 24 hours. but boy was it fun.
this was our hotel... super cute and we had the whole place (only 6 rooms and a lovely patio area) all to ourselves.
lauren drawing... we spent a lot of time drawing this trip... we went in to town just the two of us and sat by the water drawing everything around us... lots of people stopped to watch and that was a bit uncomfortable, but fun still... minus the part where i burned my back from sitting out too long.
my grandma brought olives just for me because she knows i like em and she likes that i still eat em the way i did when i was 5

we were sad because we got weird tan(her)/burn(me) lines
such a cute town... so many stores (that i didn't go in) and so many tourists... i think it would be fun to live and work somewhere like that some summer.
i loved this old man ( i think he has my shoes... minus the additions i made)
it was so relaxing and lazy... it was so hard to get up for work by 7:30 this morning... blech
i want a marriage like my grandparents have someday... they are so great together
katie colored her hair... wow bright! haha i think she is planning on toning it down sine she's afraid hume won't like it.
