oooo you have the apartment management company I was telling you about before. Does your apartment smell like mildew yet so you can sue? How did you get the shrunk in your bathroom? (Just curious.) Good luck.

The leak was plugged, and they replaced the carpeting. Soo...it looks like I have a place to stay again, I just have to move all my furniture back in.

The shrunk was too big. Luckily, there's a storage place right around the corner from me.

YAY!! I'm glad your shrunk wasn't ruined. And, you have a home again. Imagine a leak like that in 100+ degree weather. Shew! You could almost see the steam in my apartment when it flooded. There was water literally flowing from the back of my apartment out the front door. In the end, the (vacant) apartment next door's bathroom had a leak and the apartment upstairs' kitchen drain was leaking. It took them two weeks (and 4 tries) to fix it. You can imagine...

Yikes!

I'll consider myself lucky, in that case.
I can tell you one thing; I'll never live in a ground-floor apartment again.
