I like this story a lot, it's sweet and tender and captures the characters well. But I also have to gush at you for reasons unrelated to your writing, because I have had so many arguments where I can't convince people that "Better Days" is clearly a Christmas song. You are the first other person I've seen who's recognized it as such.
