moving and switching it up

A lot has happened in the past week that made me want to post entries, but I thought I'd wait until everything sorted out so that I could say what has happened instead of what might happen. This is in reference to Laura's search for a new place to live, which I'm happy to say is over and has ended on a good apartment. Tomorrow we'll be moving her ( Read more... )

Glad to hear everything got sorted out well.... moving is a pain. Good luck with everything else too, especially the friends thing. I know how tough it is to make new friends. If you ever get lonely or discouraged or whatever, don't hesitate to call me.

Oh and we gotta hit up that Indian place. You gonna be around this weekend?

Thanks, I'm certainly glad I have the friends I already do.

I won't be back this weekend because of work and moving Laura, but I'll probably make a trip back the weekend after if I can. I'll give you a call when I'm back and maybe we can catch the lunch buffet at the Indian place if you're still up for it.

I hope your sickness has gone away by now as you guessed it would.

I also think its great stuff is finally starting to work out for you... I certainly can relate to a lot of what you mention but I'm sure you'll pull through just fine. As always I'm up for talking anytime as well.

I can't wait to see your aparment done in "brad style" I think it will be neat. I can't believe how nice of a guy you are with all of the helping you are doing with the moving and all...certainly more nice than I would be.

Thank you for the love and wishes for my family. The surgery was actually last night. Bruce and I went to the hospital yesterday around 12pm and didn't leave until 2:30 in the morning. We stayed with Brad and my huge family in his room until around 4:45 when he need alone time with his fiance and my grandma. He was in good spirits but understandably scared. The doctor came at 2:15am to tell us that the surgery went well, that they think they got all of the tumor, that it was benign, and when he came to he knew his name, could wiggle his toes and stick out his tounge. So it seems like it worked out as well as it possibly could and I couldn't be happier :)

That awesome!! I'm so happy for Brad and your family!

I'd love to show you the new "pad". I have some more moving to do today and Laura still needs help with assembling desks and bookcases and the like. Maybe I'm too nice, but honestly I can't imagine myself not helping someone when they really need it. Man I hope I don't get walked all over in the job world :P

Hope to see you guys soon!
