how long do the stars you cut into your hand take to heal? is there any good ways to hide them from your parents over the holiday?

Mine are along the outer edges of tattoos and so I never have to hide them, they're just not noticeable by most people, and those that do don't say anything about it.

Healing takes time, could be three or four days, I mean it all depends on how deep you cut, how your skin reacts to that kind of trauma, how you treat it (neosporin!) and whatnot.

If you're afraid of the consequences don't do the action, control the impulse as best as you can and try to walk the line..

lol 3 or 4 days, they'll heal before that whew
most people don't even acknowledge my presence, except my parents who are afraid of me being different, so I don't really have problems hiding it.
thanks and I'll try better to control it next time

If you had control, real control, you wouldn't feel the need to do it in the first place. The fact is, at least for me, I do it because I've lost control, that I'm searching for something to connect to, some real emotion, something like pain, to justify my being alive, to know that I control my own life, to know that I can do whatever I want to do whenever I want to do it, and it's that simple. Lame as it sounds, it's that simple.
