I just did my intro but i really really have something i need to get off my chest. and i am going to first ask a question. Is it normal for you to feel guilty for joining a group that is out with cutting? i mean i am ok with doing it to a point i just dont want my daughter to do it you know. she is only one and at the age of copying everything she ( Read more... )

Don't feel bad for posting right after your intro. People join communities because they're looking for something not because they feel like filling out intro forms (*laughs* mostly at least ( ... )

My daughter is two, and I relapsed for several months... jeeze, when was that? I believe shortly after she turned one, and I quit again a few months ago. I've had a few minor relapses since then but I consider myself clean ( ... )

i am seeking help i have a counselor i go and see ever week. It is helping with my self esteem more than it is helping with the actual SI. I just really wish i had a magic wand to make everything better, you know. It would be nice not to have this constant worry about everything.

Believe it or not, raising your self esteem and becoming more stable leads to being free from self injury. You have to raise that first, so in truth, you are working to get free from this. That is the first step.

It would be nice, yes. I would suggest joining a support group for mothers or something as well, I found that and therapy helped a lot.

yeah i wish there was one available in my town but they dont think that anyone needs group therapy. it is sad really.
