AGH OMG! A GIANT ANACONDA!!! The Philly Zoo

Although I'm not much for goggling at animals in captivity, my Aunt Carol wanted to take my dad and I with her to the Philly Zoo, which is the first zoo in the nation. It was a nice trip, I got to see some pretty cool animals, including some of my favourites. Take this guy for example:

I had fun... but I would much rather see the animals free in the wild than in cages. But sometimes, if theyre endangered, they need to be in captivity I guess.

I love African Wild Dogs. I'm such a dork, I think it's awesome that you got to go to a zoo... it looks like the enclosures are really nice, they look like actual habitats.

Well, most of the enclosures were nice but I think a few of them could be bigger. But theyre working on that right now; they had lions and tigers but theyre expanding their land and it'll be open in the spring :-)
