Other than the natural beauty that Oregon has the weather was the next best thing. Highs in the 70s and lows in the 40s each night. You can sleep with your windows open at night and you don't have to worry about bugs either because they do not have a bug problem like we do! SO NICE and I miss it SO MUCH already. :)

hehe It's really neat. I am suprised that some of the bigger cities in the Dallas/Ft. Worth or Austin areas do not have simular things.

None that I've seen. Houston and Dallas have some big malls, don't get me wrong, but nothing as big as what you described. The Galleria's pretty big, but there aren't any underground tunnels or anything like that.

Yeah. Been to the Dallas Galleria. One day I guess the south will take the Northwest's example. :)

I'm so happy you had a great time..I'm looking forward to the other 3 parts of your adventure.

That's great that he wanted to meet Ben...Very different from Arkansas, right???

I didn't know you had family there also.

I'm sure you heard by now how much Charles liked the weather here also...Now that you guys have gotten out of Ark, you are learning that you don't have to see Confederate flags everywhere and suffer through a heat index of 130.

Out of curiousity, I have to ask this..Are there Targets in Oregon? Or does Ben consider Target to be the spawn of Satan?

There are Wal-Mart's, Target's, and a place called Fred Myers. It like s super Target or super Wal-Mart but with Tommy jeans and nice clothing in them.

Ben doesn't hate Target but we usually do 99% of our shopping at Wal-Mart.

Loved Oregon. So much.

My great Aunt and Uncle live there and their two kids and their families. I have never been to close to them so that is why you have never heard me speak of them.

So happy that Charlie loved it up there. :)

We're all about Target up here...The WalMart's here tend to be really ghetto (and they are filled with Mexicans)....:-)

I'm really looking forward to you spending the week up here also..Hell, I'm counting the days.

I got tickets for Wicked, by the way!!! Charles said he told you about that.

I guess that answers my question of "Where in the world has Charles been?" I'd completely forgotten he was going to visit you. *palm face*
