This was the first day of the return trip. We are currently in Williamsburg, Virginia. Why? Dad recommended it over Richmond. Richmond, it should be noted, was 40 miles closer and on the route we were taking. I am not sure why this is a better place to stay. If we were going to the park, it would make more sense. We aren't. Right now, we're in Charleston, South Carolina. Its a beautiful city. Much like the more interesting places we've seen thus far (New Orleans, St. Augustine, Savannah), its beautiful in its own way. It reminds me of a small town spread out really far, with colonial-era buildings smack dab in the middle of it ( Read more... )
