Signed the petition. I know these online things are usually not worth the pixels they're made up of, but every little helps, right?

With regard to all the contact information - what exactly do you SAY to these people? I've never really known what I'm meant to do. XD

But I really hope enough people can act together to get some publicity for this guy and his dad.

Honestly, whenever I've had to deal with things like this I've just briefly explained the issue/my concern and asked quite frankly if the person on the other end could do something to remedy the situation. :/

The thing that's irked at me is that, even if perhaps the people he listed do get contacted and convinced, there's the problem of the armed forces. Most people think that the power is really in the control of their army, not the politicians. -.- Putting the pressure of international eyes on the matter might be the best way to get things solved. I just copied the letter as I found it posted, but I think contacting embassies or local government that has international diplomacy reach is probably the best way.
