WTF???? help!

On my Mac, I have to CONSTANTLY log in to livejournal, and then when I go to my friends pages, it logs me out so therefore I cannot read ANY of the locked pages. I have to log in to do anything. What happened since Monday??? HELP!!!!!

There's been some code changes since Monday due to a couple of exploits floating around. Log out, flush your cookies and HTML cache, then log in again -- you should be good to go.

the lj_maintenance community has been posting news that they have been making some cookie changes that have logged everyone out... also, using a browser like firefox or safari is a lot more reliable than using IE...

I had the same problem with my mac, but I was using IE (I’ve had IE on my mac forever and have been too lazy to replace it -- that and being on dial-up at work didn’t inspire me to wanna take the time to do it). No amount of cache cleaning or anything fixed the problem for me on IE so I downloaded Firefox and the problem was solved.
