June Update

It's been more of the same, really. My orthopedist gave me the all-clear last Wednesday to go at something faster than a walk on my treadmill, so I have been, and my shriveled, asthmatic lungs are hating and loving me for it. I still have a bump on my Achilles tendon, but the doc said I'd probably always have it unless I had it shaved off, which ( Read more... )

Sounds like things are good in your world! :-)

The pics are awesome! The house looks great and all the food! I really would love to sample some of your beautiful looking food sometime. I really need to get a car soon so I can be more social! :-/

Thanks, Miouo! Things are really good! Maybe a little bad once in awhile, but those things get enough airplay without my focusing on them here, and they're not worth the time, anyway. ;)

1. My eyes were drawn to the line of books in the background and trying to suss out what cookbooks you had before I noticed the flowers in the foreground.
2-4. Jealous of your garden! I'd love to try those zucchini blossoms. Never tried that before.
5-6. Wish I lived closer so I could swap homemade treats with you.

1. I have a lot of cookbooks, and some aren't even on that shelf. Some of my favorites, though, are OnCooking (the textbook for my core cooking class), the Cake Bible, The Silver Spoon, and the Alton Brown books, just because I love the science aspect of cooking. Even the Joy of Cooking is good for the science-recipe combo. I like books with the pretty pictures, too ( ... )
