I checked your wife's myspace in search of new baby pix a while back. She has loads of pix on there. Anyways, you should tell her to put at least a pic or two of you on there. Let her know that since you don't have any kind of page some people have to go to her page to keep up to date on things. Or you could take the hint..

Yes, but they are in the backyard for the most part. We have one German Shepard that is our "protector". She is crazy good at defending her home and keeping the smaller dogs out of trouble. She has taken down many a raccoon, snake etc that has made the mistake of showing its face in her territory. She used to get upset at the coyote howling but when it continued every single night, she eventually stopped responding. We lock up all of our animals at night now, except for her. She wanders around, darts after questionable noises and when all is calm she stretches out on the second story deck and just watches over the property. Since she has been loose there has been nearby howling and she has not done anything. I don't know if keeping her in the backyard with the howling going on all around her has ruined her desire to defend against the loud invaders or what

Well hello there! Glad you like my pictures! :D I know it wasn't the best of stories to read (esp for dog lovers) but I posted it here in hopes of some kind of help. Not from LJ folks, of course, but I linked to it via email in search of assistance from people that know way more about this stuff than I do. Unfortunately, I received no response. Like an idiot I linked to the journal and not the post itself so I haven't posted so it would stay at the top. Guess it didn't matter much. Ah well.
Well to lighten the mood a bit you should know that despite the loss of my little kib, I did get another puppy later on. We never bonded because I couldn't really get past what happened to my first puppy but she has a good home here and is very happy. Here is a picture to drive home the "Awwww" factor. :D

Having two kids really puts a limit on how much surfing I can do and have the energy for.
I am by myself for a month now, hence the time to check in on you.
