BYU's belltower normally plays a few strains of  "Come, Come Ye Saints" every hour on the hour before tolling the hour chimes. And in between random things we have organ majors play little programs of various songs that I don't normally hear and/or recognize.

Yesterday, since HP7 came out at midnight, this is what they played instead- every hour on

Heehee, I've heard them do this before, and it made my day. It's almost like the carillon was made for the Harry Potter theme.

I've been on lurkmode on LJ for quite some time, mainly because I realized the only posts I was making were to complain about something and I was annoying myself X)

They did it for the opening day of at least one of the other Harry Potter movies. I don't think it was an hourly thing then, though. Probably just part of the noon playing that always happens.
