Asians. I was still bitter about it last year, but I've kind of moved on now. I think I kind of realized, "Eh, SM isn't where I wanna be anyway." Still...made me real bitter. But hey, on the plus side, if you don't go, you don't have to be subjected to five hours of the same songs over and over and over and over and over until you want to stab yourself in the ears if you hear Haengbok one more time. ...Yeah, I went with my friend who auditioned last year.
I'm bitter about it, but I guess it's to be expected of a Korean entertainment company. But still...
Whoa, was 'Haengbok' playing over speakers or something, or were people who were auditioning singing it? This will decide how quickly I would get sick of it being played over and over.
A handful of videos by various SM artists were being looped on a projection onto the wall or something. Haengbok (Suju, not the original), Don't Don, O like once or twice, Balloons, Into the New World, Dancer in the Rain, One More Time OK?, Timeless, Girls on Top, some other BoA song, some Jang Ri In song, Scandal...that's all I remember. Only heard Don't Don like twice when I would have WANTED to listen to that all day. Balloons was my ringtone at the time and I thought I'd scream if I heard my phone ring.
I desperately want to go with my friend and be the out-of-place white person. And possibly stalk future stars or something, idk. And pick up promotional things and be creepy.
I'm wondering what would happen if I was actually talented and tried out. I look white as can be - light brown hair, blue eyes - but what if I said I was part Asian? Would they do a background check? I mean, sure, eventually if I was actually talented and was advancing into the upper levels of the audition, but right then and there?
What personally makes me mad about that page is that they even list the TRAX as an artist when they've been shoved in the backcloset of inactivity for probably close to two years now. I can't even imagine how enraged BlackBeat fans still are..
