(no subject)
So...
I havent updated with any details about my world in a while.
Heres to recap for those who only keep up via LJ, direct all questions and comments to the "Comments" section convienently provided or (*gasp*) ask me:
I pledged Alpha Phi Omega (co-ed service fraternity) last fall. Johnathon (my bf at that point) got a job at Circuit City where he met the girl he would end up cheating on me with (though I wouldnt know that until well after we broke up). Our relationship fell apart for a lot of reasons, and by the end of March (and after almost two and a half years) we broke up. I was upset for *maybe* a week... We really were done by then.
On to May... one of my then housemates (and a total redneck) got *really* trashed and tried to start a fight in a 7-11 with a group of preppy guys. A rather cute guy (to me at least...) was nice enough to break it up before my dumbass roomie got his ass handed to him. Well, I found out that he lived on my street... too bad I didnt get the nuts up to go talk to him until about a week later and 12 hours after he moved away. Not to worry though! He was apparently as intrigued as I was and came back one Saturday night to see if I wanted to talk or something, I did. When he left the next day (hehehe) we both kinda knew we had found something good.
Well, his name is Chris, he's 27, we've been going out since late May and living together (with a friend of mine from the frat) since July. He's an ACF Certified Chef and one of the best things to happen in my life for a long time.
I decided not to go back to VCU this fall and have instead been working in the deli and bakery at a grocery store close to our house. I will probably go back for some kind of education soon. But not just yet and not at VCU.
Recently we have been talking about moving somewhere else entirely at the end of June (when the lease runs out) as opposed to just somewhere else in Richmond or maintaining this lease.
Well folks...
It looks like (in six months) the girl who has lived in Virginia her whole life will be leaving for good.
I think thats enough of an update...
