You know you need a vacation when ...

You're at the stoplight before work and it occurs to you that you don't
know where you're at or where you're going.

Fortunately, the sign for my place of employment was clearly visible or my
momentary fog could've been a bit longer.

Boy, days that start like that are just wrong. I hope your fog lifted before your first real call of the day. :)

She'd be picking up the phone:

"Hello?"
"Is this the help desk?"
"The who? What do you want?"
"HELP DESK?"
"OH, the HELP DESK. You have the wrong number."

Ahh yes. The old...."I haven't been looking where I was going but I am now focusing my eyes on the road and I can't believe that I didn't hit anything where the hell am I?" problem. I know it well.
