I'm currently working on a project for a couple of the walls of my apartment. It's a Rube Goldberg machine of sorts, a multi-step do-nothing machine that will be (hopefully) fun to look at and use. I would be suspicious of anyone who buys twine. That's just weird.
Did you ever see the machine that takes in food and converts it into real human feces? An artist built it for an art show... it's about twenty feet long and does exactly what the uman body does (e.g. add bile at this stage, etc).
I hate a lot of modern art, but that one is just ingenious.
