well yes, in that I'm being intellectual about a Samurai movie and also making a Star Wars reference. I would maintain though that its nerdyness is insignificant when compared to its coolness.

i was going to say that if you're looking for Japanese violence, you should check out Takashi Miike, but then realized that he's almost a genre unto himself and not necessarily one i would recommend to someone without knowing more about her preferences. so instead i'm just saying hi.
