OK, I'm back :)

Dude, I loved this! I like the power you chose for Dean - manipulating metal could certainly come in handy for a hunter since so many monsters are affected by iron or silver. And I like that while John was uncomfortable being around Dean, he didn't completely write him off.

I agree with above commenters - more in this 'verse would be awesome, but if this is all you ever write of it I will still be 100% satisfied. Very, very well done, and thank you!

I'm so glad you like it! I've always thought metal manipulation is an awesome power. Dean could totally do a lot with it, as long as he can dodge the 'are you really human?' questions from the other hunters :3 I'm glad you liked John's reaction. I couldn't really see him just dropping Dean, but John's first instinct whenever something is wrong is to go out and try to fix it, and I could sort of see Dean interpreting that as rejection. So that's the track I tried to take here.

Thank you. I'm thrilled at the interest for a 'verse. Who knows. Maybe someday I'll write a sequel :)

Oh really cool idea, crossing X-Men with Supernatural and giving it a Supernatural spin!

NEED MORE MUTANT!DEAN! ;DD Love this! Especially how Dean just feels the metals and Sam's non-reaction to Dean being a mutant! ;D I wonder how a meeting between Magneto and Dean would go? XDD Conflict of interest? *snickers*

I'm glad you liked it! I totally based Dean's powers off of Magneto's. They're probably distantly related, since powers tend to run in families. Make of that what you will.

Or from the Winchester side? ;DD Won't that just BURN John if he found out that the gene for Dean's mutation came from him?! *chortles gleefully* And all the pseudo-aunts/uncles! *snickers* What would Xavier make of Dean? Whee~! Awesome brain candy!

Nah. Magneteo'd be related to that one German guy who's Dean's great grandfather or something. And it would totally be on John's side. (Honestly, I think John just wants proof that his son is still completely human and there isn't anything supernatural messing with his biology).

Feel free to write a spin-off of this if you like.
