I hope that this is going to be a solid return, because I remember that using the journal to document my life, interests, and feelings was always refreshing and a great way to contemplate something, document it, and move past it. Guidance from friends and strangers is always appreciated, as are kind words.
That, in a nutshell, is exactly what I've stayed on LJ for all these years (in spite of periods during which I didn't have as much time or energy for blogging). I'm glad you decided to come back, and I hope that being here again gives you some of the benefits you described. above :)

I plan on it, and I'm glad to still have some 'viewers' out there, like you! btw, I loved your family holiday photo session. that was just so much fun to see. We aren't a family that takes lots of family photos, so I don't have lots of those to post on here... but my christmases are similar to yours in the good spirited, thoughtful gifts and the traditions.
