Electric Cars

Here is an interesting experience I had the other day: an electric car. A friend at work is renting one for the month and gave me a ride back into Oslo. No, I'm not talking about one of those hybrids that are getting popular in North America, but a bona fide fully electric car. Here is the car:

Weird lookin' Wheels.

The other day I was listening to Of Montreal and the song 'Summer in Oslo' came on. That should be your theme song.

It totally is! The song does a very good job of describing Oslo in the summertime. Right now the streets really are strangley absent since everyone is away on holiday. It seems almost the entire country leaves unless you are in the tourist industry or a poor student trying to make enough for next year (like everyone remaining at Simula at the moment).
