It's a bit confusing when the blog itself excerpts:

"We don’t want people to conclude that passive smoking has no effect on lung cancer," says one of the researchers, Stanford oncologist Heather Wakelee. "We think the message is, this analysis doesn't tell us what the risk is, or even if there is a risk."

And besides, as it also goes on to state, even if second-hand smoking only leads to borderline or no increase in lung cancer, there are still a host of other health reasons why it's bad.

So if your takeaway is to focus selectively on "nyah, nyah, politically-motivated scientists got this wrong" go ahead I guess, it's what you do :-)
