No, no Kerensa, a past life thing would take too long for Ryan; far better to think that the gods sent the groundhog to test Ry's warrior spirit. Or perhaps, just to amuse themselves and push his insanity to greater heights. For example....notice the next e-mail on his many "browns"; one can only believe that he has the "leprous brown" somewhere near the "bubonic brown" for conformity's sake!
