You know, when thinking about grad school I had always figured, "Just make your parents happy and try for their old University." But that's not very progressive is it? I will definately go to grad school here in New York, but not necessarily their school. But for law school or phd work I'd really like to leave this place. This place as in THIS ( Read more... )

that's cool! i thought i wanted to go out of the country for school or just for a little while too (like at least a few months) but now that i've been to cali for 2 weeks, and now korea for almost 2 weeks.. i realized that i get way too homesick to actually stay here; everything's on the other side of the world! but kudos to you if that doesn't bother you. perhaps you can take a trip there first to see if you enjoy staying there or not.

You're definately right about visiting. I'm starting my travels at the end of this year with Japan in December, then hopefully the Netherlands in February and Spain next summer. I feel so behind in world travel. By the time I had started highschool I already knew a good handful of people my age who had been to a few countries. Time to play catch up. Hopefully it will be lots of fun, whether I'm with people or traveling solo. :-)
