The unnamed ship
Second draft design of the main characters' ship. The coloring was done in a rushed and haphazard manner, so no, it's not supposed to look pretty.
Bit of background: Avi basically picked the ship up in a scrapyard dirt cheap, and it's at least 15 years obsolete. The government is subsidizing explorers, and this is pretty much the best thing he could get his hands on. Also, it was in a lot worse condition when he bought it; he and Talia had to fix it up a lot to even get it off the ground. So it looked a lot worse when he named it (but, he's the idealistic sort, so he wouldn't have let that stop him giving it a grand name)
Names I'm considering (in no particular order):
Ulysses
Icarus
Artemis
Callisto
Circe
It's Icarus, for backstory reasons (that I somehow managed to forget about until now). Also irony.
And back to work I go.
