Sounds like the same issues my m-i-l had with her dementia and the fever she had .. the confusion and disorientation is a scary thing for everyone involved that's for sure .. I can't imagine how people with alzheimers deal with that kind of memory loss. This whole process just gave me a new found respect for families going through something like that.

Hope your dad stays healthy .. getting old does suck.

I'm not looking forward to these issues with my own parents although (knock on wood) so far they seem to have been in good shape, or at least in well-managed shape.

I hope your dad continues to feel better, and is clear of the virus soon!

Looks clear, and he's decided to stop drinking. Though that might be more of a temporary, it's a good sign.
