I am one of those who bought the boxed set of the 10 seasons of SG1 dvds this week.  I already owned them all, but the price was such that I thought it worthwhile, in order to get 4 discs of extras that I'd not otherwise seen (the ones that the rest of the world got all along, but we in N. America did not--why do they do that, anyway ( Read more... )

I just read Joe Mallozzi's blog (Dec. 19) and he had a bit of news about the upcoming SG1 movie.  First, it's being written (I had hoped it was already done,but alas, no) and second, it's unlikely to start filming till next summer, which means we're unlikely to have it in our hot little hands for another year, doggone it.
