choc chip cookies again

May 21, 2012 11:20

So yesterday we made choc chip cookies again with the same recipe though we did modify it and as a result, were much more impressed with the way they turned out.

We used an electric beater to combine 125 G butter and 1/2 cups of brown sugar (it needs to be creamy),
I then put some golden syrup in. We couldn't taste it so next time shall try two tablespoons and mix it.
Put two eggs in mixing after each addition,
Put a table spoon of baking powder and same of cocoa, mix them in.
Then put approx 2 cups of flower in gradually mixing after each add.
Mixx well; put 1/2 cup white and 1/2 cups dark choc chips in; mix well.

Turn oven on to 180 degrese C and line two trays with baking paper (we did all that in a weird order, yo.)
Roll mixture into little balls and line on baking trays; press each ball down slightly and make sure they're spaced out quite well.
Put in oven for approx 20 to 22 mins (non-fan forced).

I've got another recipe to try this morning from the lovely Loralie; it's a creamy gnokki chicken and sundried tomato bake; will place recipe in here later; I feel quite confident about giving it a go though; I'm feeling so much better about cooking and hence I am enjoying it more, way more. :)
